Across India, fulfilment requires courier and express parcel companies to operate a vast delivery network. The demands on this network continue to increase, with the Indian Chamber of Commerce noting recently that the logistics industry—of which the courier and express parcel segment is a sizable proportion—is poised to grow at a 10–12 percent compound annual rate to $380 billion by 2025, up from around $250 billion today.
